Devon Wedding Huntsham Court // Abbie & Alex

What a day, and what a pair! These two are truly a match made in heaven, and I was absolutely delighted when they asked me to capture their wedding at Huntsham Court in Devon.

It had been a couple of years since I'd last photographed a wedding there, so I was thrilled to be back. It's such a stunning venue! Even the drive up to the country house estate is something special—a peaceful lane lined with ancient oak trees, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a deer along the way.

From the moment I arrived, I knew it was going to be an unforgettable day. The excitement was already building as everyone put the finishing touches to the morning preparations, and there was such a relaxed, joyful atmosphere that set the tone for everything that followed. And then there was Abbie's wedding dress... it couldn't have been more perfect for the venue. Elegant, timeless, and effortlessly beautiful, it suited both her and Huntsham Court perfectly.

There was laughter echoing through the house, glasses of fizz being poured, and plenty of happy chatter as everyone soaked up the excitement of the day ahead. It was the perfect start to what would become a beautiful celebration filled with love, fun, and so many unforgettable moments.
