Daisy&Alan's intimate winter wedding @Watergate Bay
Daisy & Alan's intimate winter wedding @Watergate Bay in Cornwall..
Daisy and Alan were married on the 27th of February at Watergate Bay Hotel. They had an intimate small wedding ceremony and lunch. There was heavy rain forecast from 3pm onwards and I was pleased it was still dry when I drove there around 12pm. With the ceremony scheduled for 1pm it should leave us enough time for some couple shots down the beach...well, that was the plan. However, we were all restlessly waiting for the bride..it turned out the taxi firm got the pick up time confused and thought they supposed to pick Daisy up at 1.20pm instead of 12.20pm. One of her bridesmaids picked her up in the end, but only to find out her sisters were still missing with no reception on their phones, so nobody could reach them! A very stressful start of the day, but everyone arrived at Watergate Bay Hotel 1 hour later than planned and the rest of the afternoon went to plan. Our photo shoot on the beach had to be shortened to 10 minutes as it started raining heavy, but we took a few more shots in the hotel and I'm quite pleased with the results considering the time we had. Alan & Daisy are a lovely couple to work with and their deep bond to each other really reflects in the images. What a lovely, intimate wedding! I only stayed with them for a few hours, but I'm sure they had a fantastic evening reception...
Charlotte&Chris winter wedding @The Green, Cornwall
Charlotte & Chris' wintery wedding @The Green House and Cottages in Bodmin Moor, Cornwall...
Charlotte and Chris got married at The Green, Cornwall on the 21st of February. It was a typical February winters day with glimpses of sunshine and brisk showers. I love shooting at this special, laid back venue and it has it's own beautiful, cosy wintery charm. However getting the couple shots done in the woodland with a mix of heavy rain showers and sunshine and a quite baltic breeze turned out a bit of a challenge, not just for me, but also for Chris & Charlotte ;-) Never mind we were prepared with umbrellas and wellies and working with such a lovely laid back couple was a pleasure. I love the rose coloured scheme of the decoration and couldn't stop taking photos of the lovely table settings. And how stunning does the lit up marquee look at night!

Remembrance Day, Hayle, Cornwall
Remembrance Day, event photo shoot for the Cornishman newspaper...
Yesterday I was asked to cover the Remembrance Day ceremony in Hayle, Cornwall for the cornish newspaper The Cornishman . The brief heavy rain shower somehow added some quite suitable mood to it. Thoughts are with everyone who has lost a loved one in war...past or present...
my latest work:
Welcome to my blog, here you will find my latest work, previews of recent weddings /elopements and some tips to plan your special day.

This felt less like a wedding and more like a gathering of hearts — full of intention, connection and so much love. This felt less like a wedding and more like a gathering of hearts — full of intention, connection and so much love. One of the most unique ceremonies I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing, with breathwork to ground everyone into the moment, a communal OM echoing through the space, and some of the most heartfelt vows and readings that had more than a few people reaching for tissues.
