What can I say! Louise and Alex were blessed with a beautiful sunny September day and had their reception at the stunning private beach venue Lusty Glaze. You can't get closer to the beach to celebrate your wedding in Cornwall. Louise and Alex were a real fun couple to work with and they didn't care getting their feet wet.. 1 image preview..busy, busy times editing lots of great weddings I recently photographed all over Cornwall and Devon. I promise I'll be posting more images very soon ;-)
So now the season has quieted down a bit, I can start posting all my favourite weddings from this summer, exciting times!
Zephy and George were married in Mevagissey church and had their reception in a village hall nearby. The whole day had a very personal touch to it and all the decorations were DIY. We were pleased when their caterer said we could sneak into their private garden which is basically located in Heligan Gardens. It was a much better choice for the couple photo shoot than the plain village hall field. They really went to town with the decorations and converted the hall into a lively wedding venue! I loved every minute I spend with them and their guests. Here are a few of the days highlights..

I've got a feeling I don't need to hire a second photographer anymore as I meet all these lovely second shooters at recent weddings ;-)

What can I say! Niels and Harriet celebrated their special day in style at Huntsham Court in Devon. The stunning mansion is situated in the beautiful Devon countryside on the border of Exmoor National Park. It's always a great pleasure shooting at a stunning location like this. With it's 5 acres of private gardens surrounded by rolling countryside there are plenty of photo opportunities!
The speeches were epic and I loved the beef carving outfits! My highlight was the first dance with The Rebel Party Band absolutely rocking the night away... I wished I could have stayed a bit longer to get my rusty dancing legs swinging again!

One of the most unique ceremonies I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing, with breathwork to ground everyone into the moment, a communal OM echoing through the space, and some of the most heartfelt vows and readings that had more than a few people reaching for tissues.
