Wedding Photography at The Green Cornwall // Phoebe & Chris
I can’t believe I finally get to post a preview of Chris & Phoebe’s epic wedding at The Green Cornwall!!
I want to take the opportunity to apologise to all my recent couples who wait for their galleries. This year has been two seasons in one for me and many other wedding suppliers. With shifting nearly twice as many weddings this season there I haven’t been abe to spend as much time on my desk and therefore the editing is delayed. When it comes to delivering your images I’m a perfectionist and can’t rush things and let the quality slip. After all you will hopefully treasure these photos for a lifetime so waiting a few weeks longer will be with it!
So a huge thanks to all my couples to be so patient and understanding. I’m dong my best to work my way through the images and I can’t help a little smile here or there reliving beautiful moments whilst I’m editing…
Phoebe and Chris got married on the … of July. What an epic day! We’re talking garden games, a magician, great music, a fantastic venue and a great bunch of people to add the right amount of good vibes and fun. Phoebe’s family is greek and believe me they know how to party, there were plenty of shots going around during the speeches. I spend my childhood and early teenage years in Greece during summer holidays as we had a house there and we were quite often invited to greek weddings and parties. Oh I remember the delicious food , Ouzos, the warm mediterranean sea and late summer evenings!
I’m always looking forward to Kaj Music playing as he seems to get the danceflloor going with no exception.
So here we go, enough said, I let the photos do the talking and need to get back to the editing…

Knightor Winery Wedding Photography Cornwall // Claire & Andy
Claire and Andy’s relaxed style small summer wedding at Knightor Winery
Claire and Andy got marred on the 24th of July at Knightor Winery with ca 40 guests, a small relaxed summer wedding in Cornwall. They were blessed with a mild day and most f the wedding was spend outside in the beautiful courtyard of Knightor. Unfortunately some of their guests couldn’t attend because they tested positive with Covid including Andy’s brother who was holding his best man’s speech via Zoom. It was extremely touching seeing all the emotion in the room during that speech! You could just tell Andy would have loved to have his brother by his side on his special day…
The Wine tasting was loved by all the guests and is always a great addition to your wedding here at knight Winery. My personal favourite is the ‘Carpe Diem’ Rosé.
Laura Kelly’s live music created a vibrant evening atmosphere in the courtyard when I left and I’m sure they had a a brilliant night.
Here you go, Claire and Andy, a small preview for you to shorten the wait for your final images…

Trenderway farm Cornwall Wedding Photography // James & Rachel
Rachel and Jame’s epic heatwave wedding day at Trenderway Farm in Cornwall
What can I say! James and Rachel’s wedding at Trenderway Farm in Cornwall was ticking all the boxes of an epic wedding day…a beautiful location, a great bunch of people, a summer heatwave and happy summer vibes all around. It was definitely worth the wait, they were supposed to get married last year and had to postpone twice. I’m so pleased for them that they could finally say ‘I do’!
It was my first wedding at Trenderway and I immediately fell in love with this place. Tucked away in a beautiful sheltered valley on the South Cornwall Coast this is the kind of venue I love photographing weddings at and I hope I will get the opportunity to be back here very soon.
Everyone loves the sunshine but I guess this wedding was in my top 3 hottest days I ever photographed. After the ceremony we ventured to the gardens where under the shelter of some trees we listened to the first set of speeches by Jame’s dad and Rachel. I love a bride’s speech and when it’s that heart warming and emotional, even better!
The sun was high in the sky so we decided to just do a brief set of portraits and do the main photos later on in the evening sun.
In the evening ‘Memento London’ soon filled the dance floor Even though the temperature was still in the high twenties. Rachel and James truly were rocking their wedding with an epic first dance performance…
What a day! One of those I would have loved to stayed on and joined the party but unfortunately it was the week with 4 weddings and I made the sensible decision to drive home to recharge for he next wedding.
James and Rachel, words can’t describe how beautiful your very special day was. I enjoyed capturing it even though I felt broken the next day! I guess you agree it was well worth waiting for over a year.
I hope you enjoy your little preview…

Wedding Photographer Cosawes Barton Cornwall // Kim & Scott
Kim and Scott’s relaxed vibes heatwave summer wedding at Cosawes Barton Estate in Cornwall.
It was a pleasure to photograph Kim & Scott’s heatwave wedding at Cosawes Barton recently. It’s been a while I worked at this stunning venue and I was excited to head back there!
They had a beautiful wedding ceremony in the outside arbour. I loved the back light there at the time of the day, it added some true magic to the images. The day continued in relaxed garden party style. Everyone chilling out under the shade of the trees as it was so hot, before a high tea was served in the marquee followed by brief speeches. We originally planned to head to a nearby beach for the couple portraits, but I had my concerns with it being the middle of the day during a heatwave, I guess the whole Cornwall ventured there which would have made it hard to produce some great images. So we headed to Kennall Vale, a nearby Wildlife and Nature Reserve to find shelter from the sun in this beautiful woodland. I loved all the photo opportunities there and it was much cooler than on the beach!
The cocktail bar was in full swing when we arrived back from the woodland and some of the guests had a great time joining the kids on the climbing frame and swing. Kim and Scott weren’t keen on a first dance so instead the evening started with a classic drinking game. Relaxed summer vibes all around! I’m so blessed to be able to photograph such gorgeous relaxed vibe weddings recently!
Here is a little taster from the day. Kim and Scott, thanks again for letting me photograph your very special day. Not long now for your final images…

Wedding Photography Lusty Glaze Cornwall // Mel & Dez
Mel & Dez’ epic day at Lusty Glaze. Sunshine, love and tropical vibes…
Mel and Dez met on a sailing trip and have chosen Lustyglaze as their wedding venue because they have a special connection to the sea and wanted a relaxed vibes outdoor wedding on the beach.
When I emailed Mel about the photo list and she replied she doesn’t want any posed photos at all and just wanted me to ‘do my thing’ I knew straight way that this was the kind of day I love photographing so much. And epic it was, I enjoyed every minute of it!
I kept checking the weather forecast on the run up to the wedding and it was a mix of sunshine and drizzle. It turned out much better than expected, no rain in sight just blue skies and tropical vibes. One big cloud was stuck further inland but never made it across the beach…It was all set for their dream outdoor wedding! In fact it got so hot most of the wedding guests had a dip in the sea at some point in the day.
Mel and Dez said ‘I do’ at Cornwall’s top beach wedding venue Lusty Glaze. This picturesque cove in the heart of Cornwall is one of my favourite venues, the perfect setting for barefoot, beach-loving couples who want to get married on the beach. And now you can even have the whole beach just by yourselves. Yes you heard right, no windbreakers and speedos photobombing your wedding photos, instead you have ‘something blue’ included in every wedding at Lusty.
I guess my favourite part of the day was when The Stowes started playing their Celtic version of “what shall we do with the drunken sailor’ and started the outdoor dance floor going in beautiful sunset light. The atmosphere was buzzing! Especially after we had to endure so long with no dancing during the Covid crisis.
Mel and Dez, you were truly rocking it! What an honour to have played a part in your very special day, thanks so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer. Here is a little taster for you…

Wedding Photography in St Ives Cornwall // Dan & Reva
Dan and Reva’s wedding in St Ives Cornwall…2 venues because of Covid closures, but it all turned out an epic day which coolant have been any better!
Dan & Reva’s wedding at Porthgwidden Beach in St Ives was another interesting ‘Covid Wedding’. They were originally planning for the whole day at Porthgwidden Cafe , a stunning location on a small picturesque beach in the heart of St Ives.
However the cafe had to close it’s doors because a member of the staff tested positive. Just a week before their wedding everything seems to fall apart. Gladly the lovely owner of Porthgwidden Cafe found a back up plan last minute. She is friends with the management of the St Ives Brewhouse and they offered to move the reception there. So the plan was to still have the ceremony at the beach cafe and then move to the St Ives Brewhouse for the evening, ca 15 minutes walk away on top of the hill with stunning views over St Ives. A great backup plan and everything ran smoothly. It shows yet again that if you stay relaxed and flexible about your wedding day everything will just work out fine…
It was an epic day in St Ives and I had so much fun photographing it. Dan and Reva are such a gorgeous, humble couple, a pleasure to work with, even more so as they are both highly creative and really understand photography, which helps me to get the results I hope for, well it also helps when you have just the right mix: a gorgeous couple, a stunning location (or two), great people to celebrate with and a dedicated team of suppliers.
Dan and Reva, thanks again for letting me be a part of your epic day, it couldn’t have worked out any better! Here is a little taster for you…

Wedding Photography at The Green Cornwall // Rachel & Phil
Rachel & Phil were third time lucky! They had to reorganise their wedding twice until they finally said ‘I do’ at The Green in Cornwall…
Rachel and Phil were third time lucky. They had to change their wedding plans 3 times before they finally said ‘I do’ at The Green in Cornwall. They were supposed to get married elsewhere but couldn’t manage to find a date with the original venue so they had to re-organise their wedding day which eventually lead them to The Green. But good things will come to those who wait…as Phil mentioned in his speech they were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff and the beautiful venue and couldn’t be happier that their path led them here to get married. It is indeed a great venue, with lush woodland surrounding the beautifully converted barns and an atmosphere of tranquility in this quiet green valley just on the doorstep of Bodmin Moor.
They only had 20 of their friends and family to celebrate with them and 3 dogs including their adorable bloodhound Suzie who managed to get a lot of attention…
After quite a few Gins the game of Rounders became quite competitive and so did the Speed Quiz in the evening.
I feel truly blessed to have photographed their relaxed vibes small wedding for them on a perfect sunny day at just the right location…so here you go, I selected just a few of my favourite shots in the collection below. I hope you like them.
If you are planning to get married at The Green or anywhere else in Cornwall, please contact me for availability. My diary is filling up fast for 2022/23!

Wedding Photography Tregenna Castle St Ives, Cornwall // Kristina & Scott
Kristina and Scott had a bit of an rollercoaster on the run up to their wedding day at Trevenna Castle in St Ives but were blessed with a scorcher of a day in the end…
Congratulations to Kristina and Scott who tied the knot on a beautiful sunny day at Trevenna Castle in St Ives. They had a bit of a rollercoaster on the run up to their wedding including Kristina breaking her wrist a week before and taxis not turning up to carry they guests to the wedding to name a few. However they had it all sorted in the end and were blessed with a scorcher of a day for their wedding here in Cornwall. With only 20 guests it was a relaxed and intimate day.
KRISTINA & SCOTT
TREGENNA CASTLE WEDDING
Trevenna Castle is a stunning venue with breathtaking gardens surrounded by enchanting woodland and seaviews over St Ives. The ceremony was held by the outside Pavilion on the beautifully landscaped grounds. I think everyone started to get a little emotional when Kristina walked up the aisle with her oldest son Kyle. Especially their youngest son Kayson, after he has fulfilled his duties as a groomsman and ring bearer he burst into tears, so cute!
After the ceremony the wedding party enjoyed drinks on the lawn whilst I took Rachel and Scott for a walk through the grounds for the couple portraits.
This was only a short package including ceremony and some photos after, but I felt honoured to document such a special ceremony with such a lovely bunch of people.
Here is a small preview.

Engagement Photo Session at Holywell Bay // Phoebe & Chris
I met Phoebe, Chris and their little pooch recently at Holywell Bay in Cornwall for an engagement shoot. They wanted some practise in front of the camera before their big day in July. A few of my favourites here…
I had the pleasure of finally meeting Phoebe and Chris. It’s been a while since they booked their wedding with me in July at The Green in Cornwall. They have brought their cute little dachshund miniature poodle cross ‘Whitley’ along for their engagement shoot at Holywell Bay. They booked a pre wed shoot with me as they are both not very confident in front of the camera and wanted some practise before their big day. I hope I could ease their nerves as my shoots are not about posing but rather having fun and going for a relaxed walk on the beach whilst I’m snapping along. Well, I might point you in the right direction sometimes if I see a nice composition, but most importantly it’s creating an atmosphere to put you at ease and relax.
So here you go, a few of my favourites of the gorgeous three!
Photography for the Clancy Family on Crantock Beach in Cornwall
It was a pleasure to meet Daniele and Connor a few year’s after their wedding here in Cornwall for some family portraits
I photographed Daniele and Connor’s wedding a few years back at the Eden Project. A lot happened since then. They now have a beautiful little family and I was so excited to meet them again to take some natural family portraits during their stay here in Cornwall. We went to Crantock beach and were blessed with beautiful evening light even though we had to deal with a pretty cold strong wind swirling up sand in our faces and on my camera gear! Tricky conditions but I love the results. Family photoshoots are best on the beach or in a familiar surrounding in your family home or holiday rental, where we can work with natural light where possible and you can just ‘be yourselves’ with no posing needed, just portraying a day out of your family life to capture beautiful memories…
If you want some candid family photos taken here in Cornwall, please email me for availability and more details
Here are a few of my favourites…
