Knightor Winery Wedding // Elizabeth & Matt
Elizabeth and Matt got hitched mid October at Knightor Winery. And what a scorcher of a day it was! A full day coverage filled with fun and laughter including goats, pirates, champagne spray and two first dances and Abba time…what more do you want on your wedding day!
Oh mighty, what a day it was! Elizabeth and Matt got hitched mid October at Knightor Winery. I covered the whole day and worked with Luke form ‘I do Film and Photos’ again, dream team! A day filled with fun, love, laughter, goats, pirates and two first dances…
We started with bridal preparations in the morning and also spend a little time with the guys but they weren’t so fussed about a having plenty of photos taken. I think I nearly shed a tear when Liz’ dad came into the chalet and seen his daughter in her gorgeous dress the first time. One of my favourite moments to capture!
The ceremony was held in Knightor’s barn as the day was a bit unsettled, showers and sunshine at the same time, so it was saver and warmer to say ‘I do’ inside. Gladly for the rest of the afternoon we had glorious sunshine which helped to create some stunning couple portraits throughout Knightor’s beautiful grounds. I think we nearly went in every little corner Knightor had to offer as Liz’ had seen a lot of my previous Photography at Knightor and literally wanted it all… so we did a little tour starting with a visit to Knightor’s gorgeous goats which seemed to have an obsession with her beautiful colourful bouquet!
When we got back the bridesmaids had a champagne ready to be opened which resulted in one of my favourite shots from the day, I love a good champagne spray! In the meanwhile matt and the grooms men adopted the wooden playground ship as their very own pirate’s vessel!
Andy Mitchell got the dance floor going early and Liz’ and her bride clan had a very special set planned for later in the evening, Abba time, oh yes you heard me right, Liz is a big Abba fan and I think I haven’t seen so much fun on a small dance floor in a long time. Well, Matt wasn’t really planning to join as he’s not really part of the fan club, so he had a special treat for the guys planned, Cuban cigars and plenty of rum were enjoyed in the courtyard whilst the girls were rocking the dance floor to Abba tunes.
Oh and did I mention that the two of them had 2 first dances? an official one inside and another one in the courtyard lit by fairy lights and fire pits. My personal favourite is the al fresco dancing for sure…
So here you go, I’m so excited to share with you my favourites form Elizabeth and Matt’s epic day

Wedding Photography for a small wedding at The Stack House Cornwall // Kyle & Sally
What a truly unique wedding venue, The Stack House in Cornwall , an beautifully renovated engine house overlooking the Fal Valley. It was a pleasure photographing Kyle and Sally’s intimate wedding there.
The Stack House is a truly unique wedding venue and it’s my first time photographing a wedding here. A beautiful renovated 19th century engine house overlooking the magnificent Fal Valley. A perfect place and backdrop for small and intimate weddings and celebrations. Kyle and Sally’s day was super special. Not just this magnificent setting but also their time line. They had booked me for 4 hours as their ceremony was at 7pm and they had already their meal in the afternoon before my arrival. So we started with some couple portraits in the setting sun to be followed up by capturing Sally getting changed into her evening outfit/ wedding dress.
The ceremony was held in an enclosed walled garden. It was pretty dark by 7pm so I set up some lighting to help with the atmosphere and for my camera to focus! There was a lot of tears and laughter during the ceremony and it was finished by a beautiful sparkler exit.
We headed straight back into the engine house for drinks and speeches which were epic, like everything else that day!
What a pleasure to capture this very special day. So here you go, I made a collection of my favourites for you to preview.

Elopement Photography at Lusty Glaze Cornwall // Martin & Becky
Martin and Becky’s elopement at Lusty Glaze in Cornwall with their beloved Pug Jimmy Mac
Martin and Becky decided to keep their wedding low key and escaped to Cornwall for a few days to have an elopement at Lusty Glaze. Just the two of them and their Pug ‘Jimmy Mac’ who happened to be the main character of the day. It’s always a pleasure to shoot weddings and elopements at Lusty Glaze. This private little cove surrounded by cliffs is one of the most picturesque beaches in North Cornwall, the perfect setting for a beach wedding. Countless beautiful backdrops and wide open space to work with for natural wedding photos.
If you’re planning a wedding or elopement at Lusty Glaze, please contact me for availability and prices. I love shooting weddings at one of my top favourite local beaches!

Devon Wedding Photographer at Sandy Cove Hotel // Sophie & Carl
My first time photographing a wedding at Sandy Cove Hotel. Sophie and Carl tied the knot with an outdoor ceremony at this stunning North Devon cliff top venue…
Welcome to the second part of my 2 weddings weekend in Devon. Sophie and Carl’s super stylish and relaxed vibe Sandy Cove Wedding. Sophie and Carl are such a dream couple, they are both such lovely people which me feel super welcome from the start of the day. And not just that, they are both super good looking and creative too! Sophie made all the stunning sea themed decorations herself including the cake topping. My jaw was dropping in awe when she told me, they just looked so fantastic and unique, something I haven’t seen before! She even illustrated the table seating plan, absolutely inspiring…
And then there is her most gorgeous wedding dress and the accessories, so beautiful…
So yes, I was excited from the start as I knew this is going to be a great day to capture. It was my first time at Sandy Cove Hotel. I heard and have seen a lot about this North Devon cliff top venue and couldn't wait to finally shoot a wedding there myself. Sophie and Carl had an outdoor ceremony on the hotel’s cliff top space overlooking the beautiful Nort Devon coast. What a place to say ‘I do’.
After the ceremony we ventured to Broadbands Beach. A 5 minute woodland walk from the hotel this picturesque beach is secluded and has been voted number 3 in Britain’s best secret beaches. An area of outstanding natural beauty for a reason and well worth the over 200 steps down (and back up!). Quite a few wedding guests followed us as they couldn’t resist a trip to this jewel of North Devon beaches. Sophie’s brother played the mouth organ and everyone enjoyed some drinks and a stroll on the sandy beach before climbing back up for the wedding breakfast. It was time for me to leave, sadly they had only booked me for a half day package.
I hope you enjoy the images as much as I did capturing them. I hope I will be back at the stunning venue soon.
Please contact me for availability and prices if you are planning to get married at Sandy Cove or anywhere else in North Devon. I take bookings for 2024 now.

Wedding Photography Devon Tunnel Beaches // Laura & Paul
Laura and Paul’s beautiful Tunnel’s Beaches wedding in Ilfracombe Devon was a pleasure to photograph. With an outdoor ceremony and a great bunch of people. I always love a little trip North Devon!
Well it’s always a treat to drive up to North Devon to photograph a wedding, especially if the destination is Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe! This venue is just like no other. Tucked into the North Devon cliffs and with it’s very unique seascape it is a photographer’s dream. I had a Friday and monday wedding booked that weekend in September, so I packed the van and stayed up there for the weekend. I love a little Devon trip.
Laura and Paul got super lucky, the day was overcast and it kept raining, but just in time for the ceremony it cleared up and they could get married outdoors overlooking the sea. What a stunning ceremony it was! Laura’s best friend since over 25 years walked her through the tunnels to her dad, who then walked her down the aisle. I met the girls in the morning at a nearby accommodation for their bridal preparation shots and I knew then that it would be a fantastic and fun day to capture. What a nice bunch and they travelled here from as far as Germany and Argentina! Plus what can go wrong if the bride wears a tassle dress…
The heavens opened with a brisk shower straight after the ceremony, what a timing! We were waiting half an hour to then walk down to the beach for some couple portraits and group photos. Unfortunately the sun didn’t come out to give the photos the contrast I love so much on the rocks here for the landscape shots, but hey, the results are still pretty stunning I think.
The speeches were epic! All the bridesmaids and two best man had some words to say and the illustrated book about Paul the groom aka ‘Papa Zu’ was amazing. How much work went into it by the talented best man, who happens to be an illustrator. Let me explain, it’s the story of Paul, the South African skater boy who moved to England and became friends to all he met. With the strength of a Zulu warrior and the compassion of ones papa, this is why he is known as ‘Papa Zu’.
I left after the speeches as I was just booked for half a day. I enjoyed every minute of it and made a small collection of my favourite shots, I hope you like them as much as I do…
If you’re planning a wedding at Tunnels Beaches or elsewhere in Devon, please contact me for further information and availability. I have only a few spaces left for 2023.

Wedding Photography for Kate & Jay's Autumn Wedding // The Green Cornwall
Jay and Kate’s September wedding at The Green in Cornwall was pretty wet. Gladly Jay and Kate were super keen to brave the elements for the photos and it was well worth it!
I was chuffed when Jay and Kate asked me to be their wedding photographer at The Green in Cornwall. Especially when Jay told me he used to be a wedding photographer too. It’s always great to work with people who understand the trade, although it puts a little more pressure on me, ha, ha…
It was a double wedding weekend for me at the same venue and both days were pretty wet, which made it a little harder! I got lucky though as Jay and Kate are such a lovely laid back pair and were well up for braving the elements to get some photos in The Green’s beautiful woodland walk. And it was well worth it!
Jay and Kate only had a small wedding and booked me for half a day, so I just covered from bridal preparations to the speeches. Shame I missed the party as I think it would have been great fun to capture with this lot.
So here you go, Jay and Kate, your long awaited preview…

Wedding Photography at The Green Cornwall // Brogan & Danny
Brogan and Danny’s epic September wedding at The Green in Cornwall. A bit drizzly but it didn’t spoil their wedding day as The Green has so many photo opportunities come rain or shine…
Brogan and Danny said I do in early September at the Green in Cornwall. This beautiful rustic barn venue with it’s own woodland located on the edge of Bodmin Moor is probably one of my top 3 visited venues. It never ceases to inspire me though, come rain or shine there are always plenty of photo opportunities. For Brogan and Danny it was a rather drizzly day, but it didn't matter, they still had the best day ever!
Here is a long awaited preview from an epic day
If you like the images and are getting married at The Green or anywhere else in Cornwall or Devon, please contact me a about pricing and details. I have only a few limited spaces left for 2023!

Wedding Photography at Stennack Farm Cornwall // Catie & Scott
A rustic wedding at Stennack Farm in Cornwall. Catie and Scott tied the knot in August with a relaxed style wedding
Catie and Scott tied the knot at Stennack Farm back in August. It was my first wedding at Stennack Farm and I loved it! It is located near Hayle down a quiet country lane and surrounded by green rolling hills and grazing cattle. With a rustic yet modern converted wedding barn and 3 cosy Cornish Cottages it is a great rustic style venue to celebrate your special day.
Catie and Scott’s day was the start of probably one of the biggest heat waves the UK encountered and when we were called into the cool shelter of the barn for the speeches and meal it was a relieving break from the intense sun! They had only booked me for a few hours so after the speeches it was time for me to pack up. I would have loved to stay longer and see this beautiful venue in the evening light, but I’m sure I will be back very soon to cover a full day wedding there.
Catie and Scott were amazing, they made me feel welcome start to finish and were a pleasure to work with.
I’m sorry it took so long for this preview guys, an insanely busy season and a rare holiday for me to recharge my batteries in the middle of September prohibited me to post this earlier… so here you go, some of my favourites. I hope you like them as much as I do.

Engagement Photo Session Perran Sands Cornwall // Neva & John
Engagement Photoshoot for Neva and John and Perran Sands in Cornwall with beautiful golden evening light
I had the pleasure to meet the lovely Neva and John for their engagement photo session back in September. They were on holidays here in Cornwall and stayed near Perranporth. They wanted to organise a photoshoot whilst in the county and had chosen the Perranporth area for it. We decided to head to Perran Sands as the beach there is usually a little quieter and it’s one of my favourite locals. I’m super pleased we were blessed with a beautiful golden evening light too. Here is a little teaser!
Cornwall Elopement Photography at Pengelly Retreat // Sue & Andrew
Sue and Andrew’s magical Cornwall Elopement at the stunning Pengelly Retreat. A luxury lakeside Cabin and Yurt hidden away in a beautiful green valley, the perfect location for a celebration of love with just the two of you or a super intimate tiny wedding with your closest family and friends…
Sue and Andrew’s elopement at Pengelly Retreat was truly magical! Let’s just start with this location, a stunning luxury lakeside Cabin and Yurt tucked away in a quiet valley with romantic, wild gardens, a flowing stream, meadows, secret gardens and lakes to explore. It is the perfect venue for a small wedding or a run away elopement in a secret idyllic place. My jaw dropped with excitement when I had a stroll around the grounds before the ceremony to make a plan for backdrops. They are endless, so many beautiful corners to discover here for photography! Truly inspiring and not just that, I want to spend a weekend here now to unwind and relax…love, love, love it! I will definitely keep my eyes open on upcoming Yoga retreats there…
And then there is this beautiful couple, the bond and love they have for each other is spell binding. They just celebrated in a small circle including Sue’s son, daughter, her partner and a beautiful Saluki to celebrate the day with them. It was a beautiful ceremony to witness held by the lovely Sabine from Perfect Day Ceremonies. They had chosen two different locations for the ceremony, the first part including the sand ceremony by the lake and the the second including the vows on a bridge near the secret garden. I felt like a was watching a romantic movie and had to hold back tears of joy, so beautiful!
After the ceremony we had a stroll around the grounds for photos. Sue and Andrew even ventured on a little boat ride! The picnic was served in the tipi tent and beautifully decorated by Phoebe from Piccolo Weddings who also made sure the day was running smoothly and a pleasure to work with.
I left mid afternoon and felt I had just visited a magical world where two individuals celebrated theur life and love for each other. Sue and Andrew, what an honour to document your truly special day, thanks again for having me there! Not long now for the final set of your photos. But for now, here is a little taster.
If you like what you see and planning a small wedding or elopement here, please contact me for availability. I always need an excuse to visit this place again
