Wedding Photographer Cosawes Barton Cornwall // Kim & Scott
Kim and Scott’s relaxed vibes heatwave summer wedding at Cosawes Barton Estate in Cornwall.
It was a pleasure to photograph Kim & Scott’s heatwave wedding at Cosawes Barton recently. It’s been a while I worked at this stunning venue and I was excited to head back there!
They had a beautiful wedding ceremony in the outside arbour. I loved the back light there at the time of the day, it added some true magic to the images. The day continued in relaxed garden party style. Everyone chilling out under the shade of the trees as it was so hot, before a high tea was served in the marquee followed by brief speeches. We originally planned to head to a nearby beach for the couple portraits, but I had my concerns with it being the middle of the day during a heatwave, I guess the whole Cornwall ventured there which would have made it hard to produce some great images. So we headed to Kennall Vale, a nearby Wildlife and Nature Reserve to find shelter from the sun in this beautiful woodland. I loved all the photo opportunities there and it was much cooler than on the beach!
The cocktail bar was in full swing when we arrived back from the woodland and some of the guests had a great time joining the kids on the climbing frame and swing. Kim and Scott weren’t keen on a first dance so instead the evening started with a classic drinking game. Relaxed summer vibes all around! I’m so blessed to be able to photograph such gorgeous relaxed vibe weddings recently!
Here is a little taster from the day. Kim and Scott, thanks again for letting me photograph your very special day. Not long now for your final images…

Cornwall Wedding Photography at Roscarrock Farm // Mat & Kate
Kate & Mat’s Country House summer party wedding at Roscarrock Farm in Cornwall. With blue skies as far as the eye can see…
It was an absolute honour when Mat asked me to photograph his wedding. He is a talented photographer himself and I always admired his work. In recent years he started Hailer Media, a marketing consulting agency in the heart of Cornwall. Have a look, some great stuff there!
So what do you get if you cross a talented photographer with a gorgeous blonde teacher and their cutest little son with a cherry picked selection of the best suppliers in the cornwall wedding business plus one of the most stunning wedding venues Cornwall has to offer? You get Kate and Mat's picture prefect wedding at Roscarrock Farm near Port Isaac. A day filled with friends, laughter, good vibes and love.
Roscarrock is a farm with walled gardens overlooking the beautiful cornish north coast. A spectacular setting which has been used for TV and Film productions before. Roscarrock was Nampara in the original series of Poldark, Winston Graham was said to have written the books based on Roscarrock. It was my first time there and I love it! It feels feel like you are at a country house summer party.
To top it all off, the day was blessed with beautiful blue skies and sunshine. I was only booked for the ceremony and the afternoon and left just after the space hopper football game, but I wish I could have stayed on as it looked like there was an awesome party on the way! Well at least I got to taste some of Ben's (Woodfired Canteen) super delicious food on the way home...
Here is a little taster for you, Mat & Kate! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did shooting your your absolute corker of a day!

It’s your day so do what you want! It’s hard I get it, guest lists, kids or no kids, are dogs welcome, should I invite that auntie and uncle I haven’t seen in years, should I hire a wedding car …But life is short and traditions are there to be broken. Do what you feel like doing and not what you think is expected!
I curated some tips to help you make the most out of your wedding day and photography…
A beautiful autumnal Wedding at The Green in Cornwall.
Beacon Crag on the coast of Porthleven is the perfect spot for an elopement or small wedding on the coast of Cornwall. Relaxed intimate weddings always suit my style as a documentary style wedding and elopement photographer in Cornwall - making the most of scenery and natural light, to capture the celebrations and tell the story with no posing or anything contrived, just real moments…

A beautiful spring wedding at Tredudwell Manor, Cornwall. It was very emotional to say the least and I feel truly honoured to witness moments like this and capture memories for them. It reminds me what wonderful job I have.

When searching for your wedding photographer, you’ve probably fallen in love with a particular wedding photography style — whether that’s documentary, editorial, film-inspired, or something with a fine art edge. Choosing a style you love is important, but beyond the aesthetic, have you thought about which moments from your wedding day you’ll want to relive forever?
