Best of 2022!
So this is it, 2022 you were amazing! A little roundup of my favourite moments…
I still have to pinch myself after being wedding photographer for over 8 years now, and I cannot believe how blessed I am to do this job – it’s a privilege being able to capture some of the most meaningful moments for people! So a massive THANK YOU to all of my couples who trusted me so far and have booked me to document one of their most special days :)
This year I mainly photographed weddings and elopements in Devon, Cornwall and Dorset. I have visited lots of stunning new locations in 2022 and some of my favourite local ones too. Some of these include: The Green Cornwall, Lusty Glaze in Newquay, Knightor Winery near St Austell, Lower Barns Boutique Bed & Breakfast, St Ives, Treseren Cornwall, The Eden Project Cornwall, Tredudwell Manor near Looe, Tunnels Beaches and Sandy Cove Hotel in North Devon. Plus lots of church and marquee weddings with the most stunning backdrops.
It was not easy to select around 100 of my favourite moments, I could have easily included 300 and it still would have been a struggle to make a selection!
If you are a bride and groom looking for a documentary wedding photographer please get in touch here, I’d love to hear from you. :) 2023 is now nearly booked but I have a few spaces left, so hurry! I also take bookings for 2024 now.
my latest work:
Welcome to my blog, here you will find my latest work, previews of recent weddings /elopements and some tips to plan your special day.
Unposed. Unrushed. Unfiltered.
Documentary wedding photography that captures the intimacy, emotion, and quiet beauty of your day.
Moments over poses. I focus on storytelling rather than staged, artificial poses. This approach captures raw, unscripted emotions and genuine interactions as they naturally unfold, offering a true representation of the day’s atmosphere—not just how it looked, but how it felt…
It's been a bit of a rollercoaster year for me personally ... Nevertheless, my work kept me focused ... Capturing love and happiness kept me going and grounded with a big smile on my face...to all my 2025 couples — thank you, you absolutely smashed it!
To celebrate every one of you, here’s my favourite wedding photos of 2025: a collection of moments that make me smile, bring back all the joy, and tell wedding stories in my own creative way.
It’s your day so do what you want! It’s hard I get it, guest lists, kids or no kids, are dogs welcome, should I invite that auntie and uncle I haven’t seen in years, should I hire a wedding car …But life is short and traditions are there to be broken. Do what you feel like doing and not what you think is expected!
I curated some tips to help you make the most out of your wedding day and photography…
A beautiful autumnal Wedding at The Green in Cornwall.
Beacon Crag on the coast of Porthleven is the perfect spot for an elopement or small wedding on the coast of Cornwall. Relaxed intimate weddings always suit my style as a documentary style wedding and elopement photographer in Cornwall - making the most of scenery and natural light, to capture the celebrations and tell the story with no posing or anything contrived, just real moments…
Anita and Alan’s stunning elopement at the unique and quirky Lower Barns in Cornwall
Hannah & Gerard’s stunning wedding at Nancarrow Farm. Filled with sunshine, laughter, chicken poo on wedding dress, maypole dancing, beautiful people, great food, maypole dancing, more dancing and overall great vibes!
A beautiful spring wedding at Tredudwell Manor, Cornwall. It was very emotional to say the least and I feel truly honoured to witness moments like this and capture memories for them. It reminds me what wonderful job I have.

When searching for your wedding photographer, you’ve probably fallen in love with a particular wedding photography style — whether that’s documentary, editorial, film-inspired, or something with a fine art edge. Choosing a style you love is important, but beyond the aesthetic, have you thought about which moments from your wedding day you’ll want to relive forever?
