We made the most of the late afternoon winter light although the northwesterly wind was blowing and it was pretty cold! Cornwall is just great for any engagement or portrait photoshoot. There are so many beautiful spots to choose from…

A Family Portrait on Crantock Beach, Cornwall

Becky and Anthony are getting married next may at the Green in Cornwall. They booked a package with an engagement shoot included. When we had the pre-wedding meeting they asked me to capture some natural family portraits on the beach instead. We've chosen Crantock Beach in Cornwall as it was close by and it's one of the most picturesque cornish beaches in this area. 

Taking children's portraits is always fun especially when they just 'do their thing' and which place is better than the beach!  We're blessed to have such beautiful locations on our doorstep! Here are just a few from our day out at Crantock..

Sarah-Jane & David's pre wedding shoot on the beach

Last week I met Sarah-Jane and David for their pre-wedding consultation. We ventured down the beach for some shots. The tide came in quicker than we thought and it turned into a little rock scrambling adventure with lots of laughter. What a lovely couple, I can't wait to shoot their wedding this summer at Lusty Glaze!

I met Shona & Mark last weekend to discuss their wedding at a cafe overlooking Crantock Bay. I told them to bring wellies as the weather forecast didn't look very promising for that day. It turned out to be a stunner and nobody would believe these are shot start of march, doesn't it look like summer!
