Andy & Carly's wedding @Lusty Glaze, a few highlights..
Andy&Carly's beautiful late September beach wedding @Lusty Glaze, Cornwall.
I met Carly just before she left the Headland Hotel with her dad to drive down to Lusty Glaze where they had their ceremony and reception. By their relaxed vibe I could already tell that it would be an amazing day to shoot. The late September day was blessed with sunshine and high temperatures and everything came together on their day. Carly and Andy were a pleasure to work with and didn't mind 'getting their feet wet' and we had a great laugh taking the portraits down the beach. They were hoping for a sunset photo since I first met them for their wedding consultation and they were rewarded: the cornish coast delivered and we had the most beautiful sunset over Newquay headland. I left soon after as I was only booked for 7hours, but I'm sure the dancing went on till late in the night... What a day!
Congratulations Fiona&Ian @St Ives! 3 image preview...
I'm always blown away by the beautiful light in St Ives. Here is a 3 image preview of our photo shoot on the beach near St Ives Harbour Hotel. I can't wait to edit the rest..

Lorraine & Peter's spectacular seaside wedding @The Scarlet Hotel, Mawganporth
Lorraine & Peter's stylish and colourful wedding @The Scarlet Hotel, Mawganporth..
Lorraine & Peter got married in The Scarlet Hotel overlooking Mawganporth beach. Scarlet Hotel weddings are exclusive hire only, so they celebrated their special day exclusively with just their closest friends and family in style. We were blessed with a sunny but breezy day. In fact, so breezy that we couldn't really go down the beach for the planned couple photoshoot, which was a shame as they hired a camper van for the trip down the hill and brought these colourful balloons I would have so loved to photograph on the beach! Never mind, the hotel offers such amazing views, that we got some nice shots in semi sheltered gardens overlooking Mawganporth beach. The speeches were incredibly touching, reflecting the close bond they have with their friends and family and there was more than one tear shed! "The Strutts' got the party vibe going for the evening entertainment lit up by spectacular lights from 'say it with lights'. This wedding couldn't have been more perfect with a few of one of the best wedding suppliers Cornwall has to offer including the lovely Jenny from Jenny Wren Wedding & Events bringing them all together under one roof.
Christine & Bouke's beautiful dutch themed wedding @Lanyon Cottages, Cornwall
Christine & Bouke's dutch themed wedding @ Lanyon Cottages, Hayle, Cornwall...
What can I say! On Christine and Bouke's special day everything came together. The weather was amazing, a lovely sunny may day. They were so lucky as this year may has been rather disappointing! I also love shooting outdoor ceremonies, they are just so much nicer and have a real country style relaxed feel to them. It's the first time I shot a wedding at Lanyon Holiday Cottages and I must say it's an absolute stunning venue!
The cottage garden was flooded in sunlight and everyone seemed to enjoy the crepes from Coastal Crepes so much that the queue just didn't seem to get any smaller the whole afternoon!
There was a lot of fun and laughter to be had with the garden games including a Croquet set, boules and some wooden stilts.
The reception room was decorated dutch themed in blue and white and was eye candy for me and my camera, unfortunately I only had a quick glimpse of it as I only stayed with them for 6 hrs.
For the couple shots we went down to the Godrevy beach. A stunning cornish beach with lots of photo opportunities!

It’s your day so do what you want! It’s hard I get it, guest lists, kids or no kids, are dogs welcome, should I invite that auntie and uncle I haven’t seen in years, should I hire a wedding car …But life is short and traditions are there to be broken. Do what you feel like doing and not what you think is expected!
I curated some tips to help you make the most out of your wedding day and photography…
A beautiful autumnal Wedding at The Green in Cornwall.
Beacon Crag on the coast of Porthleven is the perfect spot for an elopement or small wedding on the coast of Cornwall. Relaxed intimate weddings always suit my style as a documentary style wedding and elopement photographer in Cornwall - making the most of scenery and natural light, to capture the celebrations and tell the story with no posing or anything contrived, just real moments…

A beautiful spring wedding at Tredudwell Manor, Cornwall. It was very emotional to say the least and I feel truly honoured to witness moments like this and capture memories for them. It reminds me what wonderful job I have.

When searching for your wedding photographer, you’ve probably fallen in love with a particular wedding photography style — whether that’s documentary, editorial, film-inspired, or something with a fine art edge. Choosing a style you love is important, but beyond the aesthetic, have you thought about which moments from your wedding day you’ll want to relive forever?
