Lorna & Chris' Autumn Wedding at The Green Weddings in Cornwall
Lorna and Chris' autumn wedding at The Green Weddings in Cornwall. I was worried it would rain all day, but we were in a 'magic pocket'..and how beautiful is the bristolcar polished up as stylish wedding car
It's the day I will always remember when it comes to rainy weddings in cornwall.. I was really worried it would rain all day for Chris and Lorna's wedding, but we must have been in a 'magic pocket' as it stopped 9well just drizzled) for a few hours just when we left the church after the ceremony to head to The Green, Weddings in Cornwall for the reception and photos.. Lorna wanted some shots with the Minions in the background as that's where she went quite often in her childhood. Lorna grew up not far from the venue near the moors and the back fields have stunning views to her childhood playgrounds.. And how beautiful is Lorna's father's vintage bristolcar all polished up as a stylish classic wedding car!
Venue: The Green Cornwall and St Sampson's Church, South Hill // Date: 16.09.17 // Flowers: Escential Blooms // Hair & Makeup: Posh & Cosy // Dress: White Orchid Bridal // Suit: Hawkes Bespoke Outfitters // Cake: Marks & Spencer // Music: Stone Roots
with Claire&Matt on a tractor on top of a hill near St Ives
I couldn't help myself posting these as a mini preview of Claire&Matt's amazing farm style wedding..After their ceremony in Zennor near St Ives we did an excursion to the top of a hill with amazing views. This place has a very special meaning to Claire&Matt and I'm pleased we went up there on a very special wedding car, a red tractor. It was probably the best ride I ever had with a couple in a wedding car! Although the little photo trip took a bit longer than expected ;-)

When searching for your wedding photographer, you’ve probably fallen in love with a particular wedding photography style — whether that’s documentary, editorial, film-inspired, or something with a fine art edge. Choosing a style you love is important, but beyond the aesthetic, have you thought about which moments from your wedding day you’ll want to relive forever?
Unposed. Unrushed. Unfiltered.
Documentary wedding photography that captures the intimacy, emotion, and quiet beauty of your day.
Moments over poses. I focus on storytelling rather than staged, artificial poses. This approach captures raw, unscripted emotions and genuine interactions as they naturally unfold, offering a true representation of the day’s atmosphere—not just how it looked, but how it felt…
It's been a bit of a rollercoaster year for me personally ... Nevertheless, my work kept me focused ... Capturing love and happiness kept me going and grounded with a big smile on my face...to all my 2025 couples — thank you, you absolutely smashed it!

It’s your day so do what you want! It’s hard I get it, guest lists, kids or no kids, are dogs welcome, should I invite that auntie and uncle I haven’t seen in years, should I hire a wedding car …But life is short and traditions are there to be broken. Do what you feel like doing and not what you think is expected!
I curated some tips to help you make the most out of your wedding day and photography…
A beautiful autumnal Wedding at The Green in Cornwall.
Beacon Crag on the coast of Porthleven is the perfect spot for an elopement or small wedding on the coast of Cornwall. Relaxed intimate weddings always suit my style as a documentary style wedding and elopement photographer in Cornwall - making the most of scenery and natural light, to capture the celebrations and tell the story with no posing or anything contrived, just real moments…
