Wedding Photography Launceston Cornwall // Bethany & Alex
I photographed Bethany’s sister wedding a few years back, so I was delighted to see this lovely family again for Alex and Bethany’s wedding in Launceston Cornwall.
I have photographed Bethany’s sister’s wedding a couple of years back. It was during covid times and they managed to have a small intimate wedding at The Green. It was such a pleasure to see the whole family again for Bethany and Alex’ wedding in September!
I met them for getting ready images at Bethany’s parents house in Launceston before we headed to the nearby parish church for the ceremony. Such a stunning ceremony with Bethany’s mum doing part of the final blessing.
There was a lovely woodland footpath for some photos straight after the ceremony and if course we made use of the stunning Jaguar for some more portraits before we ventured to Cowslip Workshops for the reception. Unfortunately the weather turned and we couldn’t head out for our second portrait session. But the mist and drizzle didn’t spoil Bethany and Alex’ day. After some epic speeches they soon got into party mode.
What an honour to capture your very special day Bethany and Alex! Thanks for confiding in me the second time round and I really enjoyed catching up with your lovely family again. I can’t wait to show you the full gallery soon. For now, here is a little taster
Oh and thanks to the team at Cowslip Workshops for looking after me, the food was delicious!

Cornwall meets the Carribean, Tredudwell Manor Wedding Photography // Imani & Simeon
When Cornwall meets the Carribean! After having to postpone their wedding I’m so pleased Imani and Simeon finally tied the knot with all their loved ones at Tredudwell Manor. What a vibe!
I’m super excited to share this beautiful wedding with you. A caribbean vibe in Cornwall at one of the most stunning Manor House venues this county has to offer! Imani and Simeon are one of my couples who had to postpone their wedding because of the pandemic as they wanted some of their guests attending from the Carribean who wouldn’t have been allowed to travel for their original date. So I was even more pleased they could finally tie the knot at Tredudwell Manor in July. And what a day it was! They even could have the outdoor ceremony they have dreamed of as the weather played part.
I would have loved to stay longer for this one as I would have loved to venture to the nearby beach for sunset photos and capture the evening party and dancing, but they had only booked me for half a day. I bet it was a beautiful sunset that day and they had an amazing reception! So here you go, my favourite selection from bridal prep to the speeches and cake cutting.
Imani and Simeon, it was an honour to capture your day, enjoy the preview!
If you’re planning a wedding at Tredudwell next year please contact me ASAP for availability, my 2023 diary is filling up fast and I’m already 80% booked.

Cornwall Wedding Photographer at Knightor Winery // Lauren & Joe
Lauren and Joe’s beautiful autumnal wedding at Knightor Winery in Cornwall
Lauren and Joe tied the knot at Knightor Winery early October. I met the bridal party late morning for the getting ready shots in the old manor house. Lauren’s mum and dad told me they had a surprise for Lauren: her dad had a new tattoo on his arm just for his daughter’s special day. Lauren didn’t have an idea and it was a huge surprise, so special!
And Lauren’s little daughter Avda couldn’t hold back her tears when she saw her mum in her wedding dress the very first time…her words: ’ you loo so beautiful, mummy! ‘ Awwwwwww!
Such an emotional morning full of excitement and joy.
The ceremony was held in the barn and straight after we ventured out in the autumnal grounds for some photos. I love this time of year, the autumnal colours and light, it’s just so great for photos!
The party was in full swing when I left… such a good day to be a part of!
Sorry it took so long for the preview, I’m finally

Billie and Jamie’s sunny September wedding at Tredudwell Manor in Cornwall with an outdoor ceremony…
I’m finally catching up with my editing workload. So here is a little preview from Billie and Jamie’s wedding at Tredudwell Manor in Cornwall back in September. Beautiful September weather allowed for an outdoor ceremony, probably the last one outdoors this season…
I will create a decent write up about the day in the coming months when I have finished editing all your beautiful weddings. For now lets make the pictures do the talking…

Knightor Winery Cornwall Wedding Photographer // Cerys & Jordan
Cerys and Jordan’s perfect mid summer al fresco wedding at Knightor Winery in Cornwall…
Cerys and Jordan had a wonderful day at Knightor Winery this August. Blessed with a warm mid summer day they could have an outdoor ceremony, al fresco dining in the courtyard, a Pinata followed by some great tunes and fire pits for roasting these ever so loved marshmallows. A perfect summer wedding.
How amazing is their dog Simba (hope I got the name right!), such a character, I love him. And the doughnut wedding cake, wait until you see the cake details on the topping, so cool!
Enough said, I need to get back to editing a huge stack of weddings! Here is your long awaited preview, Cerys and Jordan, sorry it took so long…

Cornwall wedding photography at The Alverton in Truro // Kirsty + Colin
Kirsty and Colin’s festive micro wedding at The Alverton in Truro showed us yet again that you don’t need 100 plus guests to make your wedding day extra special. Just the right people, a good location and a touch of sparkle.
Kirsty and Colin were married at The Alverton in Truro Cornwall mid December. I photographed their friend’s wedding a couple of years back here in Cornwall and just recently met them for an engagement session on Crantock beach to get a bit of practise in for the couple portraits before the big day.
Kirsty fell in love with The Alverton because she always dreamt to get married in a castle, so here you go, pretty close! A small and intimate wedding with all the trimmings. It really felt like ‘a big day’…and so festive just before Christmas, it really got me tuned into the festive vibe…
KIRSTY & COLIN
WEDDING AT THE ALVERTON TRURO
Kirsty was wearing her mum’s wedding dress and what a beauty! It fitted her perfectly and what a lovely personal touch. Her mum really seemed to know what she was doing lacing it up, having been there before, she is a wedding dress lace up pro…
Colin’s mother had to leave after the ceremony for her cancer treatment, so I made sure we get some lovely family shots beforehand. Situations like this really touch my heart having lost my mum to this terrible disease this year.
Kirsty and Colin, you showed us yet again that you don’t need 100 plus guests to have an extra special day, just the right people, a good location and a touch of sparkle…
“Alexa has a great eye for those perfect moments and results in stunning memories captured. She blended into the background to be able to take natural photos which we will treasure for ever. Her passion clearly shows and her commitment even more so, following a long day, Alexa wrapped things up only to return a while later asking my husband and I to pop outside to get one last silhouette shot in the entrance of the venue which was softly lit from the grounds. This ended up being one of our favourite images. Alexa came highly recommended to us and we were not disappointed and you will not be either! It’s clear to see this photographer loves her work and takes great pride in what she does.”

Micro Wedding Photography at The Green Cornwall // Leanne + RossNE
Leanne and Ross’ wedding at The Green in Cornwall proofed once again that a small wedding can be a magical ‘big day’….
LEANNE & ROSS
WEDDING AT THE GREEN CORNWALL
Leanne and Ross tied the knot at The Green in Cornwall late August this year. They decided to go ahead with their wedding in a smaller circle rather than postponing it to next year. I definitely think they were rewarded for their commitment to have a micro wedding, it couldn’t have been a better day, beautiful sunshine, great vibes and a fantastic team eager to deliver them the day of their lives. This is my first full day coverage since lock down and I started to love documenting these small and intimate wedding days, so special and much more relaxed than a big celebration. Smaller weddings are the way forward for the near future!
They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony under the oak arbour, followed by a relaxed afternoon with just their closest friends and family. Sadly the best man couldn’t attend the wedding, but he was there in spirit or you may call it a photo on a stick. He kept appearing everywhere…Another constant companion was Ruby, Leanne and Ross’ adorable Cockapoo. Count how many images you will find him in…
Unfortunately dancing or a first dance is not allowed under current COVID 19 restrictions, but talented Kaj Music sorted for a great ambient evening entertainment outside the great barn accompanied with garden games a gin bar and lots of laughter.

Cornwall Wedding Photography Trewornan Manor Cornwall // Donna + Tom
Donna and Tom’s magical fairytale wedding at Trewornan Manor near Rock in Cornwall.
Donna and Tom had a rollercoaster of wedding preparations due to the global pandemic. Inspite of postponements , cancellations, being let down by venues and much more they were committed to get married this year and they did it in style. I love the venue they have found last minute, beautiful Trewornan Manor is located a few miles out of Rock. It has landscaped grounds and you can get married outside under oak trees in a beautiful setting. Just the right place for Donna and Tom who both love the outdoors.
The day couldn’t have been better for it, beautiful sunshine and a lovely atmosphere greeted me when I arrived for the getting ready photos. After the ceremony and outdoors speeches we ventured out to Rock beach for some couple photos on the beach. Unfortunately receptions with music and dancing aren’t allowed for weddings at the moment. So they ventured to a pre booked restaurant for their dinner. Shame, I would have loved to stay for a party and dancing!
What a magical day, so full of love and a true fairytale wedding!
Here is a small collection of some of my favourite moments…nit long now for the rest of your photos Donna & Tom! xx
