Cornwall Wedding Photographer The Green // Eleisha & Luke
Eleisha and Luke’s boho style summer wedding at The Green Cornwall. What an epic day to capture, we’re talking beautiful style, smoke bombs, a very special hat, emotional speeches, epic dancing and a sparkler exit to finish it all
Oh how I loved the styling of Eleisha and Luke’s wedding at The Green in Cornwall. A touch of Boho is just up my street. The stunning flower arch, hat and deco was created by the talented Gemma from Dried Designs. I loved the earthy colour scheme running through the decorations, it suited the rustic venue very well.
The ceremony was held in the wedding barn and for the rest of the day most guests were mingling outside as it was a gorgeous sunny may day. Everything about this wedding was epic, talking great styling, emotional moments, funny moments, blue skies, smoke bombs, great music, a gorgeous wedding couple, a great bunch of wedding guests and a sparkler exit to finish it all off. So many great memories to capture and an honour to be a part of. Thanks again for having me Eleisha and Luke. I’m super excited to show you a little preview here…

Cornwall Wedding Photographer at St Ives Harbour Hotel // Rachel & Dan
Wedding Photography for Rachel and Dan at St Ives Harbour Hotel in Cornwall. A stunning sunny day with an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Cornwall Coast and the best entertainment by Daniel Costin Sax Player…
Flying through my previews at the moment! Here is a sneak peek of Rachel and Dan’s Cornwall wedding at St Ives Harbour Hotel last month. They were blessed with a gorgeous sunny day and had an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Cornish Coast including an epic entertainment by the fab Daniel Costin sax player. What a day!
Rachel and Dan actually been together almost 23years! They started dating with 18 after meeting at work in Dan’s pub in Worcestershire, Rachel’s home town.
It took moving house, Dan turning 40 and a world pandemic for Dan to pop the question on Christmas Day in 2020.
Rachel and Dan have always loved spending their holidays in St Ives, following Dans family tradition, so when they were looking at venues they both knew St Ives would be the perfect place to celebrate with friends and family. Here is what Rachel had to say about their day:
‘It's been lovely seeing our loved ones enjoying st ives and seeing it in all its beauty as we have done for the last 20years... we were delighted that 40 of our closest friends and family made the 300 mile trip down to St Ives (on Easter weekend!) to celebrate with us, and the sun shone for them! It was a perfect day! ‘
I’m so pleased they had their dream wedding, good things come to the who wait!

Dorset Wedding at Highcliffe Castle and Sopley Mill // Kat & Ash
Kat and Ash’s epic wedding at Highcliffe Castle and Sopley Mill. Two amazing Dorset wedding venues in one day with the ceremony held at Highcliffe Castle in Christchurch and the reception down the road at the stunning Sopley Mill. A fantastic day and a great bunch to celebrate with! Here is a little preview of the day
Oh I always love an excuse to get out of Cornwall for a few days. Don’t get me wrong, I love where I live and photographing weddings here is amazing but every now and then I look forward to a little trip. So I booked myself a nice little Bed and Breakfast in Christchurch the night before this stunning Dorset wedding and made the most out of the morning exploring the town and beach. I had a late start for this one as Kat wasn’t so keen on ‘getting ready photos’. I met the lovely pair at Highcliffe Castle just before midday for their ceremony here.
Kat and her dad arrived in style in a vintage 1950’s Pontiac. I love a stylish wedding car, such a beauty! Kat and Ash had an hour booked at the castle, so we tried to make the most out of it and had a brief wander through the grounds to the cliff overlooking the sea. The pair were super keen to have a shot of the sea without climbing down the stairs to the beach. And time was limited, but we found a spot.
After our mini photo session we ventured to the reception venue just up the road. Sopley Mill is a stunning, renovated watermill surrounded on both sides by the Avon River with uninterrupted views across the water meadows and available for exclusive hire. It was my first time here and I loved it! A great place for a relaxed style wedding like Kat and Ahley’s day. With plenty of surrounding countryside it’s a good location for photos too.
Kat and Ash booked me for my relaxed style and they weren’t keen on too many posed photos which gave me plenty of time to focus on natural guest photos and to capture the vibe and essence of the day instead of spending ages on group photos. My kind of day! I really enjoyed my little trip here and love the results, I hope you like your little preview Kat and Ash…

Wedding Photographer Trevenna Barns Cornwall // Lisa & Jon
Lisa and Jon’s early April wedding at Trevenna Barns in the heart of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall.
Lisa and Jon got married early April at Trevenna Barns in Cornwall. Oh how I missed this place, I haven’t had the pleasure of working there since 3 years, since before all the Covid drama started…It’s still one of my top 10 favourite venues and definitely one of the very top ones for a rustic country side wedding with it’s location in the heart of Bodmin Moor and beautifully converted barns. An idyllic place to spend the weekend with your loved ones and to say ‘I do’.
Lisa and Jon couldn’t get into the venue until 1.30 pm on their wedding day, so Lisa had her makeup done elsewhere and we arranged to meet her at Trevenna for the last touches of bridal preparations. Gladly there was still lots going on for some good shots and my favourite part is her ‘first look’ with dad when she came down the stairs, emotional but beautiful!
I’m so glad the weather played part and they could have the outdoor ceremony they both dreamed of. And what a touching ceremony, filled with love, laughter and tears of joy, especially when their lovely beagle could join the end of the ceremony!
The bouquet throw was another highlight for me: Jon is a rugby player so it was just natural that the guys joined in and became highly competitive. Great images, loved it!
They have booked my half day package, so I stayed until the speeches and sadly missed the evening reception, which was a great evening I’m sure…and I hate missing a good party!
Lisa and Jon, it was an honour to photograph your beautiful wedding. I love the images and I hope you like them too. Great to work alongside talented Al who added some different angles and will hopefully support me for a few more weddings this summer, dream team!
If you like these images and are planning to get married in Cornwall next year, please don’t hesitate to contact me for a quote. My diary is filling up super fast for 2023/24!

Wedding Photography at Lower Barns in Cornwall // Demelza & Marcus
Marcus and demelza’s small wedding at Lower Barns in Cornwall. Inspite of the rain showers and cold temperatures we ventured to the beach for some beach portraits and how gorgeous is that cherry blossom tree!
Demelza and Marcus finally tied the knot at the fantastic Lower Barns Boutique Bed and Breakfast here in Cornwall. They had to move their wedding date because of Covid like many of my other couples. They decided to have a small wedding and just invited a small group of family and friends. Lower Barns is the perfect venue for a micro wedding or elopement. Tucked away in a quiet idyllic valley close to the Cornish South Coast it’s the perfect place for a mini break near the sea. I always adore the eclectic interior design and I’m bursting with ideas for my own home after I shot a wedding there…
Demelza and Marcus booked me for half a day. With a small group like this I can get a lot covered in such a short time, so I met them for their ‘getting ready’ photos late morning.
After the ceremony we took some group photos and made the most out of the beautiful grounds Lower Barns has to offer including a stunning cherry blossom tree which also framed the confetti shot perfectly.
They were super keen on some beach portraits so inspite of the drizzle and low temperatures we headed to the nearest beach. Demelza got so cold, but she was eager to get the shots and braved the elements! I’m sure she appreciated the hot tub in the evening…
I made a collection of my favourite shots from the day. Demelza and Marcus, here is your sneak peek, I hope you like it.
If you are planning to get married in Cornwall or at Lower Barns, please contact me for availability and prices. My 2023 diary is already filling up, so be fast to avoid any disappointment.

Wedding Photography for a small wedding at Treseren in Cornwall // Viki & Jeff
A beautiful small wedding at Treseren Cornwall with an outdoor ceremony. Late march and it felt like summer! Wedding Photography for Jeff and Viki’s intimate day full of joy at Treseren
Oh Treseren, what a beautiful venue! I’m so pleased I could finally shoot a wedding there, I heard so much about this place and it’s so close to my house… Viki and Jeff were blessed with a beautiful sunny day in late march for their small wedding here. It felt like summer! What a scorcher of a day to start this season with a beautiful outdoor ceremony, great styling, happy faces, a super handsome wedding dog, lots of love, tears of joy and the most gorgeous couple.
Their beloved fox red labrador ‘Woody’ caught my special attention, he is not only the most handsome pooch but also was so relaxed throughout the day. Maybe a bit too easy going when he overslept his job as a ring bearer during the ceremony. I just can’t help myself, I love dogs at weddings!
I’m an absolute fan of smaller intimate weddings like this, they are so much more relaxed and personal sometimes and I have more time to focus on the nearest and dearest. Viki and Jeff proofed yet again that you can have the best day ever with just a small number of guests.
I was booked for half a day coverage from bridal preparations until speeches, which is enough for a small wedding like this. To be honest I took so many photos in that short time that it was hard to choose my favourites. Here is my selection…

Wedding Photography at The Green Cornwall // Sophie & Benedict
Sophie and Benedict’s festive winter wedding at The Green in Cornwall.
Oh I love a winter wedding especially close to Christmas time, there is just a special festive vibe in the air. Sophie and Benedict had an extension to their Christmas holidays with their very special day at The Green in Cornwall. They were supposed to get married last year and I’m pleased they could finally tie the knot. And weather wise, they were blessed with a dry winter’s day, December was definitely a better month to get married than August or October last year!
I met Sophie in the new bridal suite for her bridal preparation images, it was super busy in there so mum had to sit in the bath with her bubbles to watch everyone getting ready. No not the bubbles in the bathwater, I meant the drinking kind ha ha!
We also visited the guys to capture their last stages of getting ready. They were definitely in great spirits and a fun bunch to photograph.
Sophie’s dad was very excited to see his daughter in her dress the first time, what a moment to witness…
After the ceremony we ventured into the Green’s beautiful woodland for some couple portraits. I had a great time working with Chris from Babalu films again. It’s been years we worked together last. I’m usually working on my own and it’s refreshing working with videographers, when its the right ones…working as a team can refresh or ignite your creativity!
After the speeches we went back outside for a sparkler exit whilst The Green team cleared the barn for the evening entertainment. With it getting dark so early in December the party got in full swing pretty early and the dance floor was soon filled with everyone dancing. Benedict’s dad was the star of the evening with showing off some impressive dance moves and ending up on the floor several times! I don’t want to know how his hangover felt like the next day…
So here you go, the last wedding in 2021, some of my favourite shots from the day below.

Devon Wedding Photographer Tunnels Beaches // Sarah & Tristan
Sarah and Tristan’s storm Arwen wedding at the stunning Tunnels Beaches in North Devon was a pleasure to photograph!
I couldn’t wait for this one, I wanted to tick Tunnels Beaches wedding venue up in North Devon off my bucket list since ages. I have seen stunning photos from this place and was so excited when Sarah and Tristan booked me for their special day there. The beach with it’s puddles and dramatic rock formations looks like something out of another world. And the architecture of the actual venue nestled into the cliff is just stunning.
We didn’t plan for storm Arwen with 60 mph plus north westerly winds and heavy downpours though! However I heard that Sarah and Tristan wanted their special day to be stormy to give it that little bit extra drama. They met sailing and love the sea, the wilder the better!
Sarah’s dad was a bit concerned how he would get his daughter safely through the tunnel without the wind messing up her outfit. The direction somehow made the wind funnel through the tunnel and it was a struggle to walk through it! He had a plan: He looked for the biggest umbrella in the house to hold it as a shelter in front of them. I was slightly concerned the thing would be strong enough and not collapse. But he got her to the other side safely and hair, dress and makeup were still in place.
The ceremony was held on the first floor overlooking the sea. It was somehow cosy in there with the warm lights and the wild sea smashing against the shore just beneath you and the just 15 guests were just enough to fill the room nicely.
Sarah’s dad is a professional photographer too, oh yes, pressure on, ha ha! No honestly a bit if pressure makes me work even better and he really understood what’s needed to assist me to get the right shots. Photography was one of the top most important things for their very special day. I totally agree, after all the day goes by so fast and the photos are the one thing you have left as a memory to treasure for years to come. After the ceremony we had to wait for a dry spell in between the heavy showers to venture to the beach for the couple portraits. Thankfully Sarah and Tristan were so keen to get some stunning shots that they were super flexible with their schedule. And we were lucky! We had ca 30 minutes without rain, the tide was just right and even the sun came out for a brief glimpse helping me to produce some dramatic shots. I’m super pleased with the results and I hope you are too.
Here is a small preview for you, Sarah and Tristan! As I promised just before Christmas….I hope you like what you see.

Cornwall Seaside Wedding at Talland Bay Hotel // Chris & Jo
Chris and Jo’s Seaside Wedding at the eclectic and stylish Talland Bay Hotel on the Cornish Southcoast
It’s been a while sine I last photographed a wedding at Talland Bay Hotel. With it’s stylish eclectic interior and landscaped gardens overlooking Talland Bay on the South Cornwall Coast it’s a real hidden gem. Jo and Chris were looking for something different for their wedding and didn’t like the corporate feel a lot of wedding venues offer. So they started to look for a Boutique Hotel in Cornwall where you can get married too and found Talland Bay, the perfect venue when you look for something stylish and a little different.
They were blessed with a beautiful sunny autumn day and we made the most out of the stunning gardens and afternoon light for the photos straight after the ceremony.
Meanwhile Damian Surr from Ginger Magic wowed the guests with his amazing tricks whilst The Beat London were playing an acoustic set followed by some great dance tunes in the early evening…
A great day to document and I’m super pleased to share some of my favourite shots with you here.

Wedding Photographer The Green Cornwall // Kadi & Ainsley
Kadi and Ainsley’s special day at The Green. It might have rained all day but they had the best day ever…
I was really looking forward to Kadi and Ainsley’s big day at The Green Cornwall. I met them last year during their mini break at Treyarnon Bay to take some family photos on the beach. They are such a lovely family and I couldn’t wait to document their special day after it was postponed in 2020 because of Covid.
Unfortuntaley it couldn’t have been any wetter, it rained the whole day and was getting thicker in the afternoon. So we had to improvise with the photos as high winds combined with downpours prohibited us to venture outside. We tried, but Kadi and Ainsley lasted 5 minutes and ran back in the cosy barn after their umbrella broke. Gladly The Green’s old rustic barn is a great place to play around for some portrait photos and they have told me they had the best day ever inspite of the weather…I’m so pleased for them!
So here you go, the long awaited sneak peak…
