Wedding Photography at Stennack Farm Cornwall // Catie & Scott
A rustic wedding at Stennack Farm in Cornwall. Catie and Scott tied the knot in August with a relaxed style wedding
Catie and Scott tied the knot at Stennack Farm back in August. It was my first wedding at Stennack Farm and I loved it! It is located near Hayle down a quiet country lane and surrounded by green rolling hills and grazing cattle. With a rustic yet modern converted wedding barn and 3 cosy Cornish Cottages it is a great rustic style venue to celebrate your special day.
Catie and Scott’s day was the start of probably one of the biggest heat waves the UK encountered and when we were called into the cool shelter of the barn for the speeches and meal it was a relieving break from the intense sun! They had only booked me for a few hours so after the speeches it was time for me to pack up. I would have loved to stay longer and see this beautiful venue in the evening light, but I’m sure I will be back very soon to cover a full day wedding there.
Catie and Scott were amazing, they made me feel welcome start to finish and were a pleasure to work with.
I’m sorry it took so long for this preview guys, an insanely busy season and a rare holiday for me to recharge my batteries in the middle of September prohibited me to post this earlier… so here you go, some of my favourites. I hope you like them as much as I do.

Lower Barns Intimate Wedding // Beth & Luke
An intimate wedding at colourful and eclectic Lower Barns with Luke and Beth
It was a true pleasure to capture Beth and Luke’s beautiful colourful intimate wedding at Lower Barns Boutique Wedding Venue early August. Every time I visit Lower Barns my travel fever gets ignited by their wonderfully eclectic interior design which is inspired by Jane and Mike’s travels around the world.
Beth and Luke invited their closest friends and family to say ‘I do’ at this colourful venue. And what a day it was! Blessed with beautiful sunshine, they really booked their visit to Cornwall at the right time.It was an honour to capture their small wedding and I’m so excited to show you a small selection of my favourites… And have a look out for the cutest flower girl in the world!

Knightor Winery Wedding Photography // Michelle & Sam
Michelle and Sam’s relaxed vibe rustic wedding at Knightor with an outdoor ceremony and vintage Campervan trip to the beach
Michelle and Sam were married late July at Knightor Winery in Cornwall. They had chosen Knightor Winery for it’s rustic and relaxed vibe which suited the kind of wedding they were planning for. The outdoors plays a huge part in Michelle and Sam’s life, they met working as guides in an outdoor centre. So I was so pleased for them when their special day turned out super sunny and they could have their ceremony outside under the beautiful oak arbor. I loved the little flower vase Michelle put up on the signing table in memory of her grandma who so sadly is no longer with us. I love special details like this and always make sure they are captured. Another one which caught my eye was the ‘hiking boots flower vases’ which reflects their love for the outdoors, the two were heading straight to the Lake District for their honeymoon.
After the ceremony we ventured to the nearby South Cornwall Coast in a vintage VW Campervan. A beautiful scenic 10-15 minute drive and they took me along for the ride. ‘Honey’ she is called and has been lovingly restored by the owners of ‘Honeybugs’ one of Cornwall’s finest Vintage Campervan hire companies. The trip to the coast was well worth it as we created some stunning shots which are a nice addition to the woodland portraits we took at Knightor.
When we returned to Knightor everyone was enjoying themselves in Knightor’s cosy courtyard playing table tennis and lawn games or just chilling in the sun.
Michelle and Sam weren’t overly keen on a first dance, but some of their guests did the job for them, especially the flower girls. The Smores Bar was also a favourite of young and old, dancing makes hungry!
What a beautiful relaxed day at Knightor. It was an honour to have played a part in it and I made a small collection of my favourites from the day.

Cornwall meets the Carribean, Tredudwell Manor Wedding Photography // Imani & Simeon
When Cornwall meets the Carribean! After having to postpone their wedding I’m so pleased Imani and Simeon finally tied the knot with all their loved ones at Tredudwell Manor. What a vibe!
I’m super excited to share this beautiful wedding with you. A caribbean vibe in Cornwall at one of the most stunning Manor House venues this county has to offer! Imani and Simeon are one of my couples who had to postpone their wedding because of the pandemic as they wanted some of their guests attending from the Carribean who wouldn’t have been allowed to travel for their original date. So I was even more pleased they could finally tie the knot at Tredudwell Manor in July. And what a day it was! They even could have the outdoor ceremony they have dreamed of as the weather played part.
I would have loved to stay longer for this one as I would have loved to venture to the nearby beach for sunset photos and capture the evening party and dancing, but they had only booked me for half a day. I bet it was a beautiful sunset that day and they had an amazing reception! So here you go, my favourite selection from bridal prep to the speeches and cake cutting.
Imani and Simeon, it was an honour to capture your day, enjoy the preview!
If you’re planning a wedding at Tredudwell next year please contact me ASAP for availability, my 2023 diary is filling up fast and I’m already 80% booked.

Wedding Photographer Chycara Cornwall // Tayler & Rich's Summer Wedding
Wedding Photography for Tayler and Rich’s summer wedding at Chycara in Cornwall with a ceremony excursion to Mylor Church. Two stunning locations, a church overlooking the water and a venue set in some beautiful woodland shelter.
Tayler and Rich had a beautiful summer wedding at Chycara with a ceremony in Mylor Church. Two beautiful locations in one day, a church overlooking the harbour in Mylor Churchtown and Chycara tucked away in sheltered woodland. The weather was forecasted to be one of the biggest UK heatwaves on record but Chycara’s woodland gave as some shelter form the scorching sun and it turned out a fantastic day. Great to work with Sean from ‘Sean White Wedding Films’ again, I think its a few years ago since we last documented a wedding together. Oh and thanks again for saving me falling down over the steps during the confetti shot!
I’m currently in an editing marathon as it has been a super busy season for me. So enough said, here is a little preview from this scorcher of a day, I let the images do the talking.

Devon Wedding Photography for a beautiful Dartmoor Marquee Wedding // Alice & Tim
Alice and Tim’s epic marquee wedding in Dartmoor Devon. An eventful day including a private piece of Dartmoor, a special wedding car, an amazing first dance performance, sparklers and a firework over Dartmoor hills to finish it all off.
I have an absolute gem to share with you today! Alice and Tim’s marquee wedding in Dartmoor, Devon was probably the most exhausting and intense day I have photographed this year so far, but so worth it! Al, my second shooter, and I had fun capturing this eventful day. I still don’t know how Alice and Tim managed to organise such an epic day, being both doctors with a busy lifestyle to say the least.
I love trips to Dartmoor with my dogs and quite often venture there for some hiking or mountain biking when have a rare weekend off. So when Alice and Tim asked me to photograph their wedding at Alice’s family private house there, I was really excited! Little did I know though, when I arrived at the House with it’s beautiful grounds, it blew my mind. It is a picturesque piece of Dartmoor on private land including an ancient wood, a stone circle and distant views to some of the better known parts of Dartmoor! What a place, so many photo opportunities. I was busting with ideas! The day was action packed though and we didn’t have too much time for couple portraits, so we had to work fast and just explore a few of the many options.
Al was covering the guys getting ready at a different location whilst I met the bridal party at the house. A relaxed morning with the ladies including some early tears…when Alice unwrapped her present from Tim, a pair of beautiful earrings from her favourite jewellers and the first look moment with dad I always love to capture if time allows…so much emotion!
The ceremony was at a church about 10 minute drive away. The chosen transport was Tim’s dad vintage Land Rover, for everyone who knows me, I have a weak spot for vintage style wedding cars out of the ordinary. So yes, I got a bit excited when they arrived in the rustic Land Rover!
Back at the house we only had a short session for couple portraits before the wedding breakfast was served in the marquee, so we were hoping to get another session in for sunset. We got lucky, the early evening shots turned out to be my favourites as the top field including the stone circle was flooded in golden hour light.
‘Joey The Lips’ were amazing and soon filled the dance floor after Alice and Tim’s impressive first dance performance. And after Alice’s mum surprise song we headed out for a sparkler exit and fireworks, the highlight of the evening and a great surprise for the guests. The party was long not finished, it only just started… the whole marquee was rocking, but for Al and I it was time to head back after nearly 14 hours of coverage and aching feet.
Alice and Tim, it was an honour to capture your magical day. It took me hours to select just a few of my favourite moments, I could have posted so much more, but I already exceeded the average number of photos for my blog posts, so here you go, enjoy…

The Cowshed Wedding Photography Cornwall // Elinor & Jon
Elinor and Jon’s intimate summer wedding at the fabulous Cowshed. It was my first time shooting at this quirky rustic venue and I loved it. What a day, we had it all torrential downpours, hail, but mostly beautiful sunshine, we even managed a little trip to the beach. I love shooting small intimate weddings with a relaxed vibe like this!
My first time shooting a wedding at the Cow Shed and I love this quirky rustic barn venue! Elinor and Jon had a micro wedding here in June. We had it all, torrential downpours, hail, but most importantly plenty of sunshine and overall lots of love and happy summer vibes. We even managed a trip to the beach for some couple portraits. I felt a bit sorry for the catering team, they had just started the BBQ when the heaviest rainstorm surprised us, I still don’t know how they managed to keep it going, well done girls! At least it only lasted 20 minutes or so. The good thing about heavy showers on a sunny day are rainbows…and we had the biggest rainbow appear early evening, it was magical.
I love capturing intimate relaxed weddings like this. A relaxed summer garden party with your closest friends and family at a beautiful location, what more do you need on your wedding day!
Elinor and Jon, I’m super pleased I can finally show you a small selection of my favourite shots, I hope you like them…

Wedding Photography at Knightor Winery Cornwall // Emma & Jacob
Emma and Jacob’s small mid summer wedding at Knightor Winery in Cornwall. A 4 hour coverage including bridal preparations, ceremony and photos after
Emma and Jacob decided to have a jut a small celebration with just their closest friends at Knightor Winery. No family just friends as it was easier to keep the wedding small that way. They had booked me for 4 hours, so we decided to include getting ready images, the ceremony and some natural and posed portraits after.
So I met Emma for her bridal preparations late morning and was pleased to greet Penny Pascoe doing the makeup, she is just so lovely to work with. Emma looked stunning and had thought about every little detail including a present for her future hubby. A very special gift, it was a custom made cufflink with Jacob’s recently deceased best friend’s ashes integrated into the design, so he can be with him in spirit on his wedding day. She really wanted me to capture the surprise, a very touching moment to say the least, I almost got a bit emotional myself. A love details like this, full of thought and personal which make a wedding so much more special.
Knightor has become a second home to me, I have a set of locations there for photos which work well in all kind of light and weather situations. So here you go, a mini taster of a short coverage for a small wedding, but still telling a story within the day…and for everyone knowing me, I love a story! I hope you like it.

Wedding Photography at Knightor Winery Cornwall // Kirsty & Craig
Kirsty and Craig’s relaxed vibe wedding at Knightor Winery in Cornwall. Relaxed vibes all around and their little boy was truly the star of the day!
Festival Tipi Wedding in Cornwall // Catherin & Marcus
Catherin and Marcus’ festival style tipi wedding in Cornwall. A day full of laughter, great entertainment, good music, general banter and good vibes…
Let’s just get one thing straight here, it does not matter what I write about this day, I simply will not do justice to how magnificently brilliant Catherin and Marcus’ wedding was…A true gem to share with you today, Catherin and Marcus’ festival style tipi wedding in Cornwall…
So I met Catherin and Marcus at his parent’s beautiful house in Trewoon to have a chat abut their big day. Straight away I thought what an amazingly wonderful pair! They have been together since 2006, so a true romance which was meant to be… theur true bond could be felt immediately. We had a walk around the beautiful grounds and a chat about their day, which was planned to be a chilled day of celebrations with friends and family, super informal, but mixed with great banter, dancing and entertainment, a festival style wedding in a tipi which sounded right up my street!!!
And it was, in fact it was more than that, it far exceeded the high hopes I already had when I drove to Trewoon on the morning of the wedding. The sun was out, the guys already opened their first beers, the gils had a right laugh getting ready…the ceremony was held in St Mewan Church just down the road. And it wasn’t just a wedding, it was also the christening of Freddie, Catherin and Marcus’ adorable son.
The reception was epic! Sunshine, laughter, lots of alcohol, fire pits, an old Jaguar, great food, great people, great music and good vibes. Oh and did I mention the entertainment would be by Marcus himself who happens to be a super talented singer/ songwriter…I surely couldn’t help myself singing along amongst the dancing crowd. So good! I’m sure I missed something…if I am, it’s all documented in the preview below, just go see…

When searching for your wedding photographer, you’ve probably fallen in love with a particular wedding photography style — whether that’s documentary, editorial, film-inspired, or something with a fine art edge. Choosing a style you love is important, but beyond the aesthetic, have you thought about which moments from your wedding day you’ll want to relive forever?
