Beach Wedding Photography at Lusty Glaze in Cornwall // Lou & Kristan

Lou and Kristan got married on the 24th of September at Lusty Glaze. They had only booked me for my smallest 3 hour package, so I arrived just before the ceremony wait for the guys to arrive on scooters. Definitely a first for me and they looked super stylish cruising down the road to Lusty! Everyone arrived early to have some pre wedding drinks and the vibe was amazing, it definitely looked like it’s going to be a great party on the beach, I just wished I could have spend longer with them. Such a lovely pair and a great bunch of people…I’m sure they had a great day after I left. Here is a small preview of the little time I have spent with them…

The Green Cornwall Wedding Photography // Lizzie & Kate

I don’t often get the opportunity to photograph two brides, so I’m super excited to share this same sex wedding at The Green Cornwall with you. Lizzie and Kate were looking for a natural, relaxed style wedding photographer to document their day and eventually found me. They were a pleasure to work for, both gorgeous and humble human beings, making me feel so welcome throughout the day, I feel truly honoured to have spend their special day with them!

Beach Wedding Photography at Lusty Glaze Cornwall // Emma & Tom

I can’t believe I photographed this wedding back in August! Firstly I want to apologise to all my couples who are still waiting for their galleries. I normally post previews like this within ca 2 weeks after your wedding, however this season was so busy that I’m way behind with the editing! I’m trying my best to catch up and working 7 days a week, but there is only that much I can do. So normal delivery time is 6-8 weeks, this season it is up to 12 weeks. I want to take the opportunity to thank all my lovely couples for their patience and understanding and I promise you it will be worth the wait!

Emma and Tom booked me for a really small coverage, I have only spent 3 hours with them including ceremony and a few images on the beach afterwards. I’m super pleased with the results though and what we captured in that short time, it’s like a mini snippet of a super fun day on the beach! So Emma and Tom, here is your long awaited preview. Oh my gosh, Sophie and Joe’s wedding at Mount Pleasant Eco Park in Cornwall was fantastic! Such a great day to be a part of. Talking festival vibes, plenty of colours, the cutest wedding dog club, lots of laughter, tears of joy, great music and a super fun and welcoming bunch of people. I wish all weddings would be like this one, it’s got to be my dream day to capture!

Lusty Glaze Beach Wedding Photographer Cornwall // Rob & Holly

I’m s excited to show you the preview of Rob and Holly’s beautiful beach wedding at Lusty Glaze in Cornwall. They tied the knot here back in August with an outdoor ceremony on the beach. What a stunning day and definitely within my top 5 favourite weddings this year so far!

It’s always a bonus when you wake up on the morning of your wedding day and see the weather plays nice with a dry warm day, especially when you planned a wedding on the beach. Holly and Rob had the full package. They have rented the cottages on the beach and added a beach closure to have their own private beach for their wedding day. And what better location could you choose than Lusty Glaze, with it’s surrounding high cliffs it is one of the most picturesque little coves here in Cornwall. I always get excited when I shoot a wedding here as it’s usually relaxed beach vibes guaranteed which fits perfect to my style of photography. There are also so many beautiful spots for your couple portraits. And the guests can just enjoy themselves with a stroll on the beach or some beach games. For me, that’s a perfect wedding day!

Knightor Winery Cornwall Wedding Photographer // Cerys & Jordan

Cerys and Jordan had a wonderful day at Knightor Winery this August. Blessed with a warm mid summer day they could have an outdoor ceremony, al fresco dining in the courtyard, a Pinata followed by some great tunes and fire pits for roasting these ever so loved marshmallows. A perfect summer wedding.

How amazing is their dog Simba (hope I got the name right!), such a character, I love him. And the doughnut wedding cake, wait until you see the cake details on the topping, so cool!

Knightor Winery Wedding Cornwall // Jamie & Rachel

Rachel and Jamie tied the knot early August at Knightor Winery in Cornwall. I loved Rachel’s chosen colour theme wine red and yellow sunflowers, a perfect match for the rustic barn venue and great colour combination.

I’m super busy at the moment with back to back weddings to shoot, but Rachel and Jamie have been waiting for this preview way too long, so just a short write up.

The first coming to mind was the bridesmaid dress disaster! Oh my gosh, one of the bridesmaids who didn’t make it to the wedding due to Covid mixed up the dresses in the bags and they ended up with a dress which was a few sizes too small! Not just that, it was one hour before the ceremony when they had realised! So a double strategy was made up and some of the guys got send out to the nearest shops to find a suitable replacement whilst a couple of bridesmaids and Maddie the lovely multi talented Knightor Event Manager tried to alter the way too dress! Option two was the go ahead. Just in time before the ceremony it was altered with bits and pieces found around the venue. What a morning! It shows once again that not everything always goes to plan on your wedding day but if you stay positive and calm and go with the flow, things like that just make it ever more special…

I loved the pinard arch by Rachel’s mid wife friends just after the ceremony, a lovely personal touch. And we got so lucky with the weather, it started rainy and cleared up during the day so everyone could relax in the courtyard.

Rachel and Jamie also booked the wine tasting, which I highly recommend at Knightor, a great addition to your day and loved by all the guests!

So enough said, I have to get back to editing your lovely weddings…I let the photos do the talking…

Lusty Glaze Beach Wedding Photography // Susie & Sean

Susie and Sean booked me for a short 3-4 hour package for their small beach wedding back in August at Lusty Glaze. I met the bridal party in St Columb Minor for their getting ready images. It was lovely to meet all the girls before the big day started…

At Lusty we were blessed with a hot day, slightly overcast, but the beach was buzzing with people, well it was the middle of August and the busiest season ever in Cornwall! We only had ca 30 minutes for all the photos and it was challenging on a busy beach like this to say the least! Gladly we found a quiet corner for a few minutes t take some nice portraits of Susie and Sean. Did you know you can book the whole beach and have the cove closed to the public for your special day? I highly recommend this as it is so much more relaxing than looking at wind breakers etc all day…

Beautiful Cornwall Elopement Photography // Sana & Hussain

Sana and Hussain decided to have an elopement wedding when they realised it was impossible to have a larger wedding with all their family in the current circumstances. Their families live all over the world and travelling from one country to the next seems to be quite difficult with current Covid restrictions in place. They have chosen the stunning Tremenheere Sculptured Gardens in Cornwall to tie the knot.

Lovely Jane from Petite Weddings helped them with heir planning process. They stayed in the nearby Fallen Angel, I have yet to visit this gorgeous place! It was my first time photographing at Tremenheere and it took my breath away, it offers so many beautiful spots for photos! A tropical Cornish Gem overlooking St Michael’s Mount and feast for themes and senses…In fact I was so inspired by the tropical plants that I bought a couple for my garden on my way home!

Sana and Hussain are the most gorgeous, humble couple and they truly found each other, they are soulmates and the light shines bright around them. When they read their vows to each other it was not just Sana who had a tear in her eyes. I felt like I’m watching a romantic movie…

A beautiful day filled with love I felt honoured to play a part in.
